I knew and loved RareWare for their unique, entertaining, well made and challenging games, but they often went a little too far on the challenge making it more of a frustration to play than a challenge. Sadly, that Rareware has died many years ago. Goodbye Perfect Dark. Hello "Banjo and Kazooie - Nuts and Bolts" or whatever it's called.
I've just today played Banjo Kazooie 1. And honestly? I miss such games. Why can't they just make a normal sequel..? Just more of a formular that has always worked well..? why must they always "IMPROVE" a franchise? In 90% of all cases it's not at all an improvement...
It's like changing the ingredients of some popular food/snack/drink. I don't want better, or different. I want the food/snack/drink I know and love. and not something that supposedly better. UGH. /rant [rant off]
